Job summary

Maximus seeks a Certified Athletic Trainer to provide comprehensive sports medicine services that optimize mission readiness and performance for SOF personnel. The ATC will support injury mitigation, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation as part of an integrated human performance team.

The role requires collaboration with medical staff and adherence to program standards; candidates must be US citizens with a Secret clearance or eligibility, and residency near select bases is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in relevant field and 7+ years of experience.
• Current licensed therapist required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training required; master’s or clinical doctorate preferred.
• Current state license required.
• NATA BOC certification required.
• Minimum of five years as ATC with athletes at high-level programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist leadership with day-to-day management to ensure compliance with contract and regulations.
• Analyze reports for performance and efficiencies.
• Collaborate with project management to set plans and objectives.
• Supervise key project staff.
• Develop and monitor performance goals for project and staff.
• Provide direction and resolve issues promptly.
• Contribute to process improvements and action plans.
