Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer to join the POTFF program supporting SOF mission readiness in Southern Pines, NC. You will integrate physical, mental, and psychological wellness for service members and families through holistic human performance strategies.

Responsibilities include delivering HP services, designing protective equipment, and contributing to care quality. Requires US citizenship, NATABOC, CSCS or plan to obtain, and 5+ years of ATC experience, with relocation

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training and NATABOC certified.
• CSCS certification (NSCA) or plan to obtain within the first year.
• Valid, unrestricted state license where applicable.
• At least 5 years' ATC experience with athletes at NCAA Division I/O/SOF settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide HP services within the ATC scope per NATA guidelines.
• Design and fabricate protective pads, braces and use taping techniques.
• Provide instruction within the ATC scope and review care with patients.
• Attend meetings, identify care improvements, and review with relevant staff.
• Advise HP program Manager on injury prevention, rehab, and training plans.
• Maintain documentation in military EHR and HP databases.
• Collaborate to ensure high quality patient care across the HP centers.
• Ensure safe operation of equipment and participate in required training.
