Job summary

KBR seeks a Certified Athletic Trainer for the POTFF contract at Fort Bragg to safeguard the health and readiness of SOF personnel and families. The ATC will deliver holistic performance care, collaborate with HP teams, and ensure evidence-based practices across the center.

Essential duties include injury prevention, equipment fabrication, clinical documentation, and ongoing education. Relocation is offered; US citizenship and security clearance eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Requires Secret or Top Secret clearance or ability to obtain.
• Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training.
• NATABOC certified.
• Possess/maintain NSCA CSCS certification (or obtain within first year).
• Valid, unrestricted license in the US and credentialing at local MTF.
• Minimum 5 years as ATC with athletes at NCAA/Olympic/pro/SOF settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide health performance services within ATC scope per NATA guidance.
• Design and fabricate protective pads/equipment as needed within ATC scope.
• Provide instruction and guidance within ATC scope.
• Attend meetings to review care and identify improvements.
• Advise HP program Manager on injury prevention, sports medicine, rehab, and bridging.
• Advise on administrative matters, purchasing, and budgets.
• Collaborate across HP program to improve patient care.
• Review equipment, products, literature to keep HP current.
