Job summary

Knowesis is seeking a Data Scientist II to support the USSOCOM POTFF program at Camp Lejeune, NC. The role focuses on identifying and implementing innovative, valuable data solutions across the SOF enterprise to improve the well-being of warriors and their families.

You will collect, analyze, and report data, build dashboards, and provide SME in evaluation and statistics. A SECRET clearance and U.S. Citizenship are required, with on-site work at Camp Lejeune.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in quantitative science or related discipline.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; detail-oriented.
• Be able to obtain SECRET clearance and citizenship.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access).
• Experience with statistical software (SAS, Python, R).
• Three years of research experience in related settings.

Responsibilities

• Consult with POTFF program staff to collect, enter, clean, and conduct advanced data analyses and statistics.
• Proficiently utilize HPDMS and other data systems to report findings.
• Build and disseminate interactive dashboards and reports for decision‑making.
• Provide technical guidance on projects and phases, including database work.
• Offer SME input on program evaluation, research methods, and statistics.
• Collaborate with POTFF staff to complete tasks and data collection.
• Assist with survey design, analysis, and reporting of survey data.
