Job summary

People Technology And Processes is seeking a SOF Analyst to support DoD documentation and capability development in Virginia Beach, VA. The role requires research, analysis, and writing to produce JCIDS/SOFCIDS/DAS deliverables in accordance with DoD standards and guidance.

The ideal candidate has a US bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical field, DAU certificates, and several years of program management and SOF writing experience, including identifying capability gaps and maintaining

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an Accredited U.S. College in engineering or other technical field.
• DAU certificates CLR 101, RQM 110, CLR 151, CLR 250, CLR 252 (RQM 310 preferred).
• At least 3 years’ experience performing Program/Project Management functions.
• At least 5 years’ experience developing capability requirements generation and documentation.
• At least 3 years’ experience performing analytical and technical writing for SOF or components, incl. SOFCIDS gaps and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Identify and record referenced final reports, or other resulting products, of studies or analyses.
• Provide deliverable JCIDS/SOFCIDS/DAS documents written per DoD requirements and templates.
• SME shall work in a classified environment and adhere to proper handling of classified materials.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to)

• Research subject matter as required to support document development. Research contacts may include industry, academia, and other commands, as necessary and appropriate.
• Identify and record referenced final reports, or other resulting products, of studies or analyses.
• Provide deliverable JCIDS/SOFCIDS/DAS documents shall be written in accordance with applicable requirement generation and DoD acquisition standards, instructions, directives, and references, conforming with the latest template, form, and format guidance.
• The Contractor SME shall have the ability to work in a classified environment and adhere to the proper protocols and requirements for processing, handling, and storing classified materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an Accredited U.S. College in engineering or other technical field.
• Defense Acquisition University (DAU) certificates in CLR 101, RQM 110, CLR 151, CLR 250, and CLR 252, (and RQM 310, preferred, not required).
• At least 3 years’ experience performing Program/Project Management functions.
• At least 5 years’ experience developing capability requirements generation and documentation.
• At least 3 years’ experience performing analytical and technical writing for Special Operations Forces (SOF) or any of its components, including developing, researching, compiling, organizing, and documenting Special Operations Forces Capabilities Integration and Development System (SOFCIDS) capability gaps and requirements.
