Job summary

SMX is seeking a Project Manager to join the program management office (PMO) in a leadership position supporting Special Operations efforts in PACOM as well as serving as a liaison with government points of contact to facilitate operations.

The ideal candidate will assist the project team with administrative oversight, operations management, and collaborate with multiple technical teams to achieve the overall mission objectives.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret with SCI Eligibility is required.
• Experience in government contracting (DoD preferred) with customer-facing roles.
• Experience briefing senior government on programmatic and financial status.
• Experience managing large contracts with complex requirements in austere environments.
• Experience with SOCOM in a PMO or technical leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate priorities and resources between multiple projects.
• Manage operational trackers to communicate with stakeholders.
• Report status and maintain program documentation, metrics, and lessons learned.
• Support planning, execution, and evaluation of a multi-faceted program with customers.
• Maintain relationships with government program managers and vendors.
• Manage daily communication, deliverable tracking, and financial reporting with subcontractors.
