EASTERN KENTUCKY UNIVERSITY is seeking a Part-Time Faculty member to teach Sociology at the Richmond Campus. Instruction may be online or in-person depending on program needs. Applicants should indicate preferred format in the cover letter.

Minimum qualifications include at least 18 hours in a related graduate degree (Sociology, Applied Sociology or Criminology); M.A., M.S., or Ph.D. preferred. Position offers part-time workload with up to nine credit hours per term and ongoing applications.

Qualifications

• Sociology M.A., M.S., or Ph.D. preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach Sociology courses as listed (e.g., SOC 131 Introductory Sociology, SOC 245 Sociology of the Family, etc.).
• Lead or facilitate instruction online or in-person depending on program needs.
• Part-time instructors may teach up to nine credit hours.
