  • A valid Community College credential in the discipline (If received prior to 1990, as the credential is no longer being issued).

Job description

Selected applicants will be interviewed to establish a pool of approved Sociology instructors for possible part-time teaching assignments in the Social Sciences Division. Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications for Sociology (see below).

Assignments may be day, evening, or weekend classes at the San Luis Obispo Campus, the North County Campus, South County Center, other San Luis Obispo County sites, or distance education. The department specifically needs faculty who can teach face-to-face courses at the California Men's Colony and/or at the District's campuses.

To be considered for the Sociology discipline:
