Job summary

Gravity Research, based in Washington, DC, seeks a Social Impact and Reputational Risk Analyst to contribute to client engagements measuring societal issues and reputational risk. The role involves leading research across 4-6 client accounts, developing methodologies, and delivering strategic, data-driven insights to senior leaders.

The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years in policy analysis or risk-related domains, strong writing and presentation skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1–3 years in strategy consulting, policy analysis, risk analysis, Capitol Hill or political science research.
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills with ability to deliver under tight deadlines.
• Experience leading teams and managing multiple client engagements.
• Familiarity with media monitoring and qualitative research methods.
• Excellent communication with senior leaders and clients.

Responsibilities

• Managing research for 4-6 client accounts and ensuring timely delivery of all project work.
• Collaborating with team members to develop methodologies to answer client questions.
• Leading associates and interns supporting client research processes.
• Developing nuanced analyses on societal issues and synthesizing findings into strategic recommendations.
• Drafting deliverables (PowerPoint, memos, and other formats) to communicate findings.
• Presenting findings to clients and acting as a trusted advisor on societal issues.
• Staying current with societal issues and industry trends to inform research.
• Contributing to product development by crafting new analytic approaches and optimizing operations.
