We are looking for the energetic dynamic level social worker/therapist.

The Social Worker/Therapist counsels individuals and facilitates groups regarding psychological or emotional problems such as stress, substance abuse, or family situations and develops and implements therapeutic treatment plans in a medical setting. They work with the patient and family to create a discharge plan for the patient and use therapeutic interventions to assist the patient in crisis situations. The Social Worker/Therapist also participates in the multidisciplinary treatment team to discuss patient care, treatment plan goals, and discharge planning.

Arrowhead Behavioral Health is a 48-bed private, free-standing psychiatric hospital located in Maumee, OH. Arrowhead offers a private, confidential, and non-institutional environment conducive to healing and recovery. Arrowhead provides a variety of specialized services for adults.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited college/university with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in social work or counseling. MSW or BSW working on MSW.

Professional License: LSW or LISW or LPC.

While previous experience in a mental health or substance abuse treatment facility is preferred, we are willing to train a new graduate excited to learn.

This individual must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Diplomacy and discretion are essential, as well as excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects. Professional demeanor and appearance required.
