Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a dedicated Social Worker to support students in Montebello, CA. This full-time, school-based role focuses on guiding students through challenges, building resilience, and promoting academic and social-emotional success.

You will collaborate with families, teachers, and a multidisciplinary team, provide counseling, crisis support, and coordinate community resources while maintaining accurate records and contributing to IEP processes.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• California LCSW license required.
• School-based experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling and intervention services to students.
• Collaborate with families, teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Support students' social-emotional well-being and academic success.
• Assist with crisis intervention, behavioral planning, and community resource coordination.
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings as needed.
