The Stepping Stones Group in Baltimore, MD is seeking a School Social Worker to support students' social, emotional, and academic growth within a stable, school-based setting. You will provide counseling, collaborate with families, teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams, and assist with crisis intervention and IEP-related planning.

Qualifications

• MSW from an accredited program.
• Maryland licensure (LMSW/LCSW/LCSW-C) or eligibility for licensure.
• Certification as a School Social Worker in Maryland or eligibility.
• Experience with children/adolescents in educational or behavioral health settings preferred.
• Special Education experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling, support, and intervention services to students.
• Collaborate with families, teachers, administrators and multidisciplinary teams.
• Support students' social-emotional well-being and academic success.
• Assist with crisis intervention, behavioral planning, and coordination of community resources.
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP and student support meetings as needed.

• Experience working with children and adolescents in educational or behavioral health settings preferred
• Special Education Experience
