Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a School Social Worker to join our team in Southfield, MI. This Full-Time, school-based role focuses on counseling, collaboration with families and educators, and supporting students' social-emotional well-being and academic success.

Responsibilities include crisis intervention, planning, documentation, and active participation in IEP meetings. Relocation assistance and professional development stipends are available to support your career growth with us.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree from an accredited Social Work program.
• LLMSW, LMSW, LMHP, LLMHP, LPC, LLMFT, LMFT- in accordance with LARA
• Qualified to work within a K-12 setting
• School Based experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling, support, and intervention services to students
• Collaborate with families, teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams
• Support students' social-emotional well-being and academic success
• Assist with crisis intervention, behavioral planning, and community resource coordination
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP and student support meetings as needed

Education
