The Stepping Stones Group in Scranton, PA is seeking a School Social Worker to support students’ social, emotional, and academic development in a full-time, school-based setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree from an accredited Social Work program.
• PA Licensed Social Worker Certification and PA LCP Certification.
• Qualified to work within a K-12 setting.
• 3–5 years of educational setting experience with focus on social-emotional supports (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling, support, and intervention services to students.
• Collaborate with families, teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Support students' social-emotional well-being and academic success.
• Assist with crisis intervention, behavioral planning, and community resource coordination.
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP and student support meetings as needed.
