Job summary

Center for Behavioral Health Osage Beach is hiring a Social Worker MSW for full-time inpatient behavioral health services. The role focuses on comprehensive social assessments, treatment planning and discharge planning within a 18-bed hospital.

You will lead individual, group and family therapies as part of a multidisciplinary team and participate in community outreach to improve care and outcomes for adults 18+. Prior acute behavioral health experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work from an accredited program.
• Member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers or equivalent ACSW credential.
• At least one year of experience in an acute behavioral health setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care with advanced social assessments, treatment and discharge planning.
• Lead primary treatment modalities, group, family and individual therapies as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Engage in community outreach programs and foster facility relationships and education.

We would like for you to consider our Social Worker opportunity for our state of the art hospital and carry out our vision of bringing communities, healthcare providers, and families together to improve behavioral health, one patient at a time.

As Social Worker, you will be instrumental in effectively providing quality patient care, displaying advanced skills in social assessments, treatment planning and discharge planning. The Social Worker will lead Primary Treatment Modalities, Group, Family and Individual Therapies. As a multi-disciplinary team member, he/she is expected to participate in community outreach programs, host-facility relationships and education.

Our state of the art Center for Behavioral Health Osage Beach is a 18-bed inpatient, free standing Adult Psychiatric hospital that specializes in treating Anxiety, Major Depression, Mood disturbances, Psychosis, and other mental health illnesses. NHC sees itself as a partner with the surrounding community as we provide psychiatric care to adult patients who require inpatient hospitalization due to illnesses related to mental health. Center for Behavioral Health Osage Beach: Mission Statement TheCenter for Behavioral Health Osage Beach will operate a “state of the industry” treatment facility that provides specialized treatment services designed to continually improve in quality and cost effectiveness. Patient care services will be provided by a multidisciplinary treatment team of professionals utilizing current, research-based, Best Practice protocols designed to achieve maximum therapeutic benefit for each patient entrusted to its care.

Inpatient Acute Care at Center for Behavioral Health Osage Beach is designed to meet needs of individuals in crisis. The mission of our facility is to provide quality services that consistently meet and exceed the expectations of patients, families, referral sources, payers, and partners. Inpatient services are offered for individuals 18 and older who meet inpatient criteria.

Qualifications: A. Education 1. Master's degree from an accredited school of social work; or 2. Member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers. B. Training 1. Documented training related to the primary population served within the past year. 2. Eligible and acceptable to meet the expectations of the Hospital. C. Experience: At least one (1) year experience in an acute behavioral health setting preferred.
