Telecare's Riverside Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) is here to help you find relief from distress and assist you in maintaining stability in your life. Our 12-chair facility has a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, psychiatric prescribers, nursing staff, and peer specialists who are all here to help you on your path.

Shifts Available:

• On Call; Shift Hours and Days vary as needed

Wage range: $33.00 - $38.70

We pay differentials! Weekend Shift differentials for hourly staff (5% for Weekend AM Shift, 11% for Weekend PM Shift, 15% for Weekend Overnight Shift)

Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

Shift differentials for hourly staff include 6% for PM Shift and 10% for Overnight Shift. Weekend Shift differentials are as previously noted.

Position Summary:

Under supervision of a licensed clinician, the Social Work Clinician II provides clinical and casework services to members served and natural supports. This involves person-centered recovery planning and collaborating with other services and agencies.

Essential Functions:

1. Demonstrates the Telecare mission, purpose, values, and beliefs in everyday language and contact with internal and external stakeholders.
2. Provides safe, effective, and efficient implementation of direct care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and standards of care.
3. Works with members served and multidisciplinary treatment teams to design, implement, and evaluate the Recovery Plan.
4. Establishes and maintains a therapeutic relationship with members served under clinical supervision.
5. Ensures provision of needed clinical services; coordinates ongoing treatment within the program and with outside agencies.
6. Provides individual and group therapy.
7. Documents all treatment thoroughly and consistently.
8. Collaborates on discharge planning and links members to community services.
9. Participates in multidisciplinary team and recovery planning meetings.
10. Demonstrates knowledge of de-escalation techniques, crisis communication, and management.
11. Serves as a clinical consultant to recovery team members.
12. Must evade members in case of assaultive behavior and pass crisis prevention training.

Qualifications:

Required:

• A Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited graduate school, working towards licensure, registered with the Board of Behavioral Science.
• One (1) year of direct service experience with individuals with severe mental illness.
• Criminal justice clearance and education verification.
• At least 18 years old.
• CPR, CPI, and First Aid certifications within 60 days of employment, maintained throughout employment.
• Successful completion of physical exam, TB test, criminal background checks, sanctions, and license verification.

Preferred:

• Experience with the target population or similar settings.

Skills:

• Ability to complete social histories, risk assessments, mental health exams, and care plans.
• Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals.
• Ability to form therapeutic alliances.
• Sufficient medical knowledge for needs assessment.
• Skills in group therapy and advocacy.

Physical Demands:

Must meet physical requirements such as sitting, standing, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds, and manual dexterity.
