Summary: The Mental Health Substance Use Disorder (MH/SUD) Clinician will develop and provide services for veterans with Mental Health and Substance Abuse issues. They will work with veterans and their families to create comprehensive recovery programs.
Responsibilities include:
Work Schedule: 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday. Not virtual.
Additional info: EDRP authorized; relocation/recruitment incentives not authorized; PCS not authorized.
Requirements: U.S. Citizen, proficient in English, background/security check, pass pre-employment physical, participate in influenza vaccination.
Qualifications: Master's in social work (CSWE accredited), licensure in state, experience or education requirements for GS-11 level, including knowledge of community resources, assessment skills, and treatment modalities.
Physical demands: Sitting, bending, walking, occasional lifting, and travel required.
Education: Must submit transcripts; foreign education requires equivalency verification.
This position qualifies for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP).
