Job summary

Texoma Medical Center, a 414-bed acute care facility, has provided quality health care to the residents of North Texas and Southern Oklahoma since 1965. Our main campus is located in Denison, Texas, approx.

one hour north of the Dallas/Fort Worth area, with additional facilities across the Texoma region. Texoma residents rely on TMC for a spectrum of physical, mental and spiritual needs, with major services including open heart surgery and neurosurgery.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Social Work.
• One Year Of Social Work Experience Preferred.
• Texas licensed Master Social Worker.
• Must have effective verbal/written communication skills and must have basic computer skills.
• Must demonstrate knowledge and skill in the evaluation of patient needs

Responsibilities

• Coordinate discharge planning and provide patient/family counseling.
• Offer crisis intervention and financial needs assessment.
• Provide information and referrals to hospital/community resources
