Position Summary:
The Licensed Master's Social Worker (LMSW) investigates, assesses, and plans interventions to support patients coping with complex social, emotional, economic, and environmental challenges. This position plays a vital role in inpatient behavioral health ensuring the delivery and oversight of high-quality social work services. The LMSW collaborates with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans, support discharge processes, and connect individuals with essential internal and external resources. This role requires strong critical thinking skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work effectively under pressure with minimal supervision.
Minimum Qualifications:
Licenses: Alabama Licensed Master's Social Worker (LMSW)
Certifications: Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP), Crisis Intervention Training/Handled with Care (within 90 days hire/transfer)
Experience: Two (2) years related experience preferred
