The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Social Service Provider, MSW, LMSW OR LCSW required at Georgia Regional Hospital - Atlanta, located in Decatur, GA.
Salary: $59,914.40 – $70,480.80 (Licensed)
Job Description:
Provide persons, families or vulnerable populations with the psycho-social support needed to cope with chronic, acute, or terminal illnesses and physical or developmental disabilities. Provides patient education and counseling, advises caregivers, and makes necessary referrals for other social services.

Qualifications - External
Master’s degree in a related area from an accredited college or university AND licensure in the area of assignment AND Two years of related post-license experience OR Master’s degree in a related area from an accredited college or university AND licensure in the area of assignment AND Two years of experience at the lower level Social Worker, Licensed 2 (HCP051) or position equivalent.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree in social work and counseling from an accredited college or university and licensure in the area of assignment and two (2) years of experience at the lower level Social Worker, Licensed 2 (HCP051) or position equivalent; or Master’s degree in social work and counseling from an accredited college or university and licensure in the area of assignment and two (2) years of related post-license experience.
