Job summary

Delta-T Group is seeking a licensed social worker to provide clinical services in the Baltimore area. The clinician will conduct assessments, provide individual and family therapy, and participate in treatment planning across office, home, and community settings.

Required are a Master's in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology and an active MD license (LMSW/LCSW/LCPC/LCSW-C). Experience with adolescents in residential treatment is valued; opportunities include full-time or part-time schedules

Responsibilities

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY

• Conduct screening assessments, and reviews intake and admission information on prospective clients for possible clinical services. Reviews all available assessments and pertinent information from outside agencies, and may also confer with birth parents.
• Provide individual therapy to an assigned caseload of clients in the office, in-home and in the community, as indicated. The Therapist will display good theoretical knowledge of mental health issues in children, adolescents, and adults, understand stages of human development and demonstrate competent treatment techniques.
• Provide Family Therapy to an assigned caseload of clients in the office, in-home, and in the community as indicated. The Therapist will display good theoretical knowledge of Family dynamics, family development, and demonstrate competent treatment techniques.
• Review and sign off on therapist and student intern clinical documentation.Participates in the design and implementation of individual treatment plans for their caseload, and monitors and records progress in achieving the goals of the individual treatment plan.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

• Minimum of a Masters degree in Social Work, Counseling or Psychology, plus two years of post masters clinical experience in child welfare or related human services
• License must be active in the state of MD
• Experience with dialysis patients is desired, but training is available for the right candidate
• Must have experience working with adolescents in residential treatment
• Experience with adolescent sex-offenders (preferred)
