Job Description

The Juvenile Justice SW Level III position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Weekend and holiday shift coverage
  • Assist/consult in planning for the appropriate after-care and concrete services once discharged from the JJ system
  • Provide on-site administrative and clinical oversight and supervise social work staff
  • Provide guidance and expertise in psychosocial assessments, family and group therapy, and disposition planning
  • Have extensive knowledge of the social service system, including JJ, ACS, DOE, OPWDD, and OMH
  • Supervision and evaluation of SW staff

Position is off-site.

Minimum Qualifications

For Assignment to Level III
1. Valid license as an LCSW issued by the NYSED.
