Location: Flatbush, Brooklyn and Queens

A well-established boys’ elementary school in the heart of Flatbush is seeking aLicensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)orLicensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)who is passionate about supporting students’ emotional well-being in a warm, inclusive, and nurturing school environment.

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will provide direct support to students, collaborate with faculty and families, and contribute to a school culture that prioritizes mental health and emotional growth.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing individual and group counseling to students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement effective intervention strategies
  • Conducting assessments and maintaining thorough records of student progress and needs
  • Leading workshops and training sessions for staff on mental health awareness and best practices
  • Serving as an advocate for students and families by connecting them with relevant resources and support services

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling
