Job description

Social Worker IV (SR-22) positions to provide services to students at various schools within the Office of Student Support Services as directed by the English Learner and Migrant Education Section.

Salary Range: $5,369.00 – $6,535.00 per month

Responsibilities
  • Seek to improve the overall quality of life of students by identifying, preventing, and mitigating problems.
  • Improve accessibility, accountability, and coordination of service delivery among a variety of professionals and agencies.
  • Establish respectful, trusting relationships with students and families.
  • Utilize helping interventions to enable students to function effectively within their environments.
Minimum Qualifications

Basic Education Requirement: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in social work from a program accredited by a recognized accrediting body, or a doctoral degree in social work from an accredited institution. Must demonstrate strong written communication, complex problem‑solving, and the ability to prepare detailed reports.

Experience Requirements: Progressive, professional experience helping individuals and families identify problems, cope with conditions, and function effectively in their environments. Experience should include: assessment of client needs; development and implementation of service/treatment plans; monitoring of services; and evaluation of client progress with ongoing plan adjustment.

Driver’s License Requirement: Some positions require a current, valid Driver’s License.
