Job summary

Fuller Hospital, part of Universal Health Services, Inc., in South Attleboro, MA, is seeking a Clinical Social Worker to join its inpatient multidisciplinary team. The role is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position in a 109-bed private psychiatric facility serving MA and RI.

The Social Worker will provide comprehensive social work services, coordinate with external providers, and lead discharge and aftercare planning for patients in inpatient and PHP settings.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work or related field is required.
• Licensure (or eligibility to obtain) in LCSW/LICSW/LMFT/LHMC is required or anticipated.

Responsibilities

• Provide social work services to inpatients/partial hospital patients.
• Act as primary contact with external providers and participate in treatment plans.
• Discharge planning and aftercare coordination.

Clinical Social Worker Opportunity -

Fuller Hospitalis a 109-bed licensed, private psychiatric facility located in South Attleboro, Massachusetts providing inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services to residents of Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Inpatient units are designed to treat adults with general psychiatric or intellectual disabilities, as well as adolescents with general psychiatric issues. Patients with co-occurring psychiatric and substance abuse disorders can be treated on most units. Fuller Hospital also provides a less intensive Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) to patients with psychiatric and co-occurring psychiatric and substance abuse disorders.

The Social Worker is an important member of the Fuller Hospital's inpatient multidisciplinary treatment team. This is a Full Time, 40 hour per week position.

Responsibilities

• Provide a comprehensive range of social work services to a variety of patients in an inpatient/partial hospital setting
• Act as the primary contact with external providers and actively participate in each assigned patient’s treatment plan
• Be the primary individual responsible for patient discharge and aftercare planning
