North Vista Hospital in North Las Vegas, Nevada, seeks dedicated social work professionals to join its team. The role provides emotional support, crisis intervention, and counseling across pediatrics to older adults, focusing on patient-centered care in a busy hospital environment.

You will perform psychosocial assessments, develop and reevaluate treatment plans, contribute to discharge planning, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work field.
• Obtain BLS within 90 days of hire and keep current.
• Must have an active Nevada LMSW license.
• Minimum one (1) year Inpatient or Outpatient experience with emphasis in mental health care.
• Experience with diverse populations and issues (death and dying, maternal/child, substance abuse, disability, chronic illness).

Responsabilités

• Provide emotional support, crisis intervention and counseling for Pediatrics through Older Adults and families.
• Provide information and referral; assist with financial assistance and supportive services related to hospitalization and illness.
• Provide case management & milieu management; complete psychosocial assessments; contribute to Treatment Plans and discharge planning.
• Document and maintain clinical records for each client during hospitalization.

Responsibilities

To provide emotional support, crisis intervention and counseling for Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Older Adults, and their significant others to cope with a multiplicity of social and emotional problems; information and referral; referrals for financial assistance and supportive services to patients and families with problems that are related to hospitalization, illness, disability, or trauma. To provide case management & milieu management, complete psychosocial assessments, assist in the development and re-evaluation of Treatment Plans, work as a member of a multidisciplinary team, and to coordinate discharge planning. Complete necessary documentation and maintain clinical record for each client during his/her length of stay.

Required Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work field
• Obtain BLS within 90 days of hire and keep current.
• Must have an active Master Social Worker license in the State of Nevada (LMSW)
• Minimum one (1) year Inpatient or Outpatient experience with emphasis in mental health care.
• Experience in working with a diverse population with a wide range of problems (i.e., death and dying, maternal and childcare, substance abuse, disability, chronic illness, etc.).
