Job summary

Position Overview

We are seeking a Social Worker to identify and assess patients and families with social, psychological, or environmental needs related to cancer diagnosis, treatment, or side effects. Responsibilities include interviewing patients and families, developing intervention plans, coordinating appointments, referring to community resources, and assisting in social functioning restoration. The role requires collaboration with the care team and ensuring psychosocial needs are met.

Minimum Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work for SW I (117711).
  • Master’s degree in Social Work or related field for SW II (117712).
Required Licenses
  • Ohio Social Worker license.
  • OSW-C certification preferred.
Minimum Work Experience
  • At least 2 years' experience in acute care and/or oncology settings preferred.
