Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group, LLC in Newark, NJ is seeking a School Social Worker to support students' social-emotional growth and academic success. You will provide counseling, collaborate with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop effective plans and coordinate resources.

This role emphasizes crisis intervention, behavior planning, and active participation in IEP meetings, with opportunities for professional development and a mission-driven team dedicated to student

Qualifications

• Graduate degree from an accredited Social Work program.
• Current Social Worker license in New Jersey.
• DOE certification.
• School-based experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling, support, and intervention services to students.
• Collaborate with families, teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Support students' social-emotional well-being and academic success.
• Assist with crisis intervention, behavioral planning, and community resource coordination.
