Job summary

LifeBridge Health seeks an Emergency Department Psychiatric Evaluator to support the Behavioral Health Team at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster, MD. The role involves advising patients and families on social issues, arranging for discharge and aftercare, and supporting program planning under the Social Work umbrella.

Requires a Master of Social Work and 2-4 years of clinical experience, with LSCW-C or LCPC licensure preferred. LMSW or LGPC may be considered with relevant background.

Qualifications

• Required: 2 -4 years of clinical experience required - Experience in acute in-patient or psych social work experience preferred
• Required: LSCW-C or LCPC license required. May also consider LMSW or LGPC licensed candidates that have relevant background/work experience

Summary

This position supports our Behavioral Health Team in the ED as an Emergency Dept. Psychiatric Evaluator. Ensures that all social services are delivered in accordance with the mission statement and SPIRIT values of Carroll Hospital Center, Acting in a lead capacity or in complex situations, is responsible for direct and indirect services for patients, families, and community members of all ages in the CHC area. Advises patient, families or members of our community on social issues, may arrange discharge and aftercare at home or in institutions, may arrange for foster care or nursing home placement, financial assistance, etc. Assists the Behavioral Health Services Coordinator of Social Work in program planning and development for specific service populations.

Experience

Required: 2 -4 years of clinical experience required - Experience in acute in-patient or psych social work experience preferred

Education

Required: Master of Social Work

Licensures & Certifications

Required: LSCW-C or LCPC license required. May also consider LMSW or LGPC licensed candidates that have relevant background/work experience

Pay Range

Pay Range: $29.00 to $51.27 Based On Experience
