Job summary

The Menta Education Group in Reeds Spring, MO is seeking a Social Worker Clinician to provide direct educational and social services to students and to collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to create supportive academic and social environments. This 10-month position with 12-month pay runs 7:30am-3:00pm CT, Monday-Friday, aligned to the school calendar.

Qualifications

• Must hold one of MO CSW, MSW+LSW, MSW+LCSW, LCPC, LCP or LPC.
• Must be licensed to practice social work in Missouri.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct educational and social services to students.
• Collaborate with parents, educators and professionals to support students.
• Develop interventions to improve behavioral and academic outcomes.
• Monitor student progress and program evaluations; consult with staff and families.
• Some travel to other Menta locations may be required.

7:30am-3:00pm CT, Monday-Friday, following a school calendar

Direct Hire with our school: Return school year after school year (no annual contract)

• Employ data-based decision-making regarding multidisciplinary collaboration, functional behavior assessments and behavioral approaches
• Build leadership to effectively help students succeed
• Develop positive behavioral and academic interventions
• Monitor student progress and evaluations, program evaluations, and consult with educational staff, parents, and other professionals
• Some local travel to other Menta locations may be necessary at times
• Only ONE of the following Licenses/Certifications: 1) Certified School Social Worker (MO Certified) 2)MSW with LSW 3)MSW with LCSW 4) LCPC 5) LCP 6) LPC
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Strong consultative and data analysis abilities
• Creative thinker who can develop a wide range of interventions meeting the needs of a diverse student population
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred, but not required
• Excellent communication skills
