Job summary

Union Plaza Care Center in Queens, NY is seeking a Full-Time Social Worker fluent in English and Korean to support residents and families with psychosocial and social needs.

You will conduct interviews, develop care plans, assist with discharge and referrals, coordinate with Medicare/Medicaid resources, document thoroughly, and participate in care plan meetings while advocating for residents' well-being.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Korean is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field; MSW preferred.
• Recent graduates are encouraged to apply; healthcare experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct resident and family interviews and assessments.

Salary: $68,000–$72,000 annually

About the Role

Union Plaza Care Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Social Worker who is fluent in both English and Korean to support the psychosocial, emotional, and social well-being of our residents and their families.

Fluency in Korean is required for this position.

Requirements

• Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

• Previous healthcare or long-term care experience preferred but not required.

• MSW preferred.

• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
