Minimum Qualifications

1. High School Diploma or Equivalent


2. Associate's degree or higher or 48 college credits (three credits in reading, writing, math and six credit in teaching or education) from an accredited university; or pass the ParaPathways exam.


3. Must possess or be eligible to obtain a level three Educational Assistant licensure issued by the New Mexico Public Education Department (NMPED)


4. Experience as an educational assistant (preferred)


5. Knowledge of computer skills in Microsoft Office (MS) software applications and database applications.

Preferred Qualifications:
