Kings County Human Services Agency is seeking compassionate and motivated Social Worker Assistant I/II to support vital services that strengthen children, families, and adults in our community. Social Worker Assistants I gain foundational experience assisting with client interviews, gathering information, and supporting case management activities. Social Worker Assistants II build on that foundation, handling more complex assignments, coordinating services, and providing higher-level assistance to social workers. Qualify for security clearance through a background investigation and fingerprint check. Ability to work irregular hours, including evenings, holidays and weekends as assigned, and travel within and outside the County. Certain positions in this classification may be designated as bilingual requiring fluency in a foreign language.

Depending upon the number of applicants who meet the minimum qualifications, the examination process may include a screening committee (pass/fail) and/or a written examination (pass/fail) and/or an oral examination (100%) to determine placement on the eligible list.
