Qualifications

• One year of experience in a position involving a high volume of public contact for Social Worker Assistant II.
• Possession of a valid California driver’s license at time of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Assists Social Worker staff with routine duties and support to clients.
• Schedules, coordinates, and supervises visits between children and parents/caregivers.
• Conducts home visits and inspections.
• Arranges transportation for clients to appointments and activities.
• Assists clients with completing forms and applications.
• Provides direct childcare during family meetings and other situations as needed.
• Responds to inquiries from clients and staff per policies and procedures.
