Examples of duties

Possession of a current Louisiana license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) plus:

A master's degree in social work followed by three years of social services experience.

Job Duties

You will function as a behavioral health social worker and:

• Provide direct client care in conjunction with psychiatrist and other treatment team members to provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions via individual, group and family therapy modalities.
• Enter therapy notes into an electronic health records system, timely and accurately.
• Provide liaison between individuals and community/contract resources as needed in addition to clinical treatment interventions.
• Perform in accordance with the laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures of all applicable licensing and governmental agencies and within the guidelines set by the District.
• Possess and maintain the necessary licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker by the Louisiana State Board of Social Work Examiners.

This AAHSD SITE is NHSC (National Health Service Corps) APPROVED. QUALIFYING SOCIAL WORKERS MAY BE ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE LOAN REPAYMENT PROGRAM.
