Minimum Qualifications

Possession of a current Louisiana license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) plus: A master's degree in social work followed by three years of social services experience.

Job Duties
  • Provide direct client care.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, medical psychologists, nurses, pharmacists, and support staff regarding therapeutic interventions, diagnosis, and provisions of evidence based treatments via individual, group, and family therapy modalities.
  • Document therapy notes within established timelines into an EHR (Electronic Health Record) System.
  • Provide screenings, triage and referral services for clients seeking treatment, and will provide emergency evaluations when clinically needed.
  • Possess and maintain the necessary licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker by the Louisiana State Board of Social Work Examiners.
Position-Specific Details

Appointment Type: Probational or Promotional

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8 hours per day

Location: This position is located in the Acadiana Area Human Services District – Crowley Behavioral Health Clinic

This AAHSD SITE is NHSC (National Health Service Corps) APPROVED. QUALIFYING SOCIAL WORKERS MAY BE ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE LOAN REPAYMENT PROGRAM.
