Capital Area Human Services District in Baton Rouge, LA seeks a compassionate Behavioral Health Social Worker to support individuals and families in need, with a focus on integrated care and community wellbeing.
You will collaborate with CAHSD psychiatrists and other professionals to diagnose and plan treatment, provide individual, group, and family counseling for clients from six years to adulthood, and help with insurance authorizations and documentation.

Possession of a current Louisiana license to practice as a Licensed Master's Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Certified Social Worker (CSW) plus:
A master's degree in social work.
Permanent status will not be granted in this job title without LMSW or LCSW licensure in Louisiana; Certified Social Worker (CSW) credential will not be accepted for granting permanent status.

Job Duties and Other Information
Appointment Type: Probational or Job Appointment.
Work Schedule: 9 hours per day Monday - Thursday, 4 hours on Friday.
Location: Capital Area Human Services District's Ascension Behavioral Health (ABH).
Career Progression: This position may be filled as a Social Worker 1, 2, 3, or 4.
