Lewis-Palmer School District 38 in Monument, CO is seeking a Social Worker to join Lewis-Palmer Elementary School as soon as possible. This full-time role requires a Colorado Special Services Provider license endorsed in School Social Worker and the ability to provide direct services to students.

You will collaborate with staff, support students Pre-K through 12th grade, and develop behavior support plans. RTI knowledge and pro-social education skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have Colorado Special Services Provider license endorsed in School Social Worker.
• Must be able to provide direct services to students, and to collaborate/consult with staff.
• Must be a team player.
• Must have experience/knowledge in working with students Pre-K through 12th grade.
• Experience developing behavior support plans for students with emotional and cognitive needs preferred.
• Knowledge of RTI a plus.
• Experience with pro social and affective education skills a plus.

Knowledge of RTI a plus. Experience with pro social and affective education skills a plus. This position is full time, and includes the full benefits package. Exact placement on the pay schedule will be determined by the Director of Human Resources upon contracting. As a guideline, we offer up to 18years of previous contractual teaching experience for a placement of Step 19, per school board policy. This pay range is based on education and experience levels with a range of$44,550-$75,279. The current teacher pay schedule can be found on our website.
