Harmony Hospice in Rhode Island seeks a Licensed Hospice Social Worker to join our compassionate team. The social worker will implement standards of care for medical social work services and provide psychosocial support to patients and families.

The ideal candidate holds an MSW (CSWE-accredited), RI SW license, a BA in social work, CPR certification, and a valid driver’s license with insured vehicle. Hospice experience and strong communication are preferred.

• RI SW license is required.

• Healthcare and hospice experience preferred.
• CPR certification current.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with insured vehicle.

Responsabilidades

Looking for an experienced, compassionate, and caring social worker to join our Hospice team.

Thesocial workeremployed by the organization is responsible for implementing standards of care for medical social work services.

$75,000-$82,000 per year (all inclusive)

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• A graduate of a master’s program in social work (MSW) accredited by the Council on Social Work Education
• License of SW in the State of RI
• A graduate of a bachelor’s program in social work accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.
• Experience in health care, hospice experience preferred.
• Understands hospice philosophy and issues of death/dying.
• Experience in hospice care preferred.
• Demonstrates good verbal and written communication and organization skills.
• Possesses and maintains current CPR Certification.
• Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured by state or organization requirements and is in good working order.
