Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive services for students with disabilities.
• Develop and implement screening procedures following rules, regulations, and procedures to identify students who need corrective instruction.
• Use observation, conferences with staff and various assessment techniques to make evaluations.
• Plan and deliver treatment for students with deficiencies in individual and small group settings.
• Provide regular evaluation of students to determine effectiveness of services. Accurately produce all records and reports as required by law and regulation or by school.
• Maintain positive, cooperative, and mutually supportive relationships with administration, instructional staff, students and parents with the school and community.
• Adhere to the New York State rules and regulations, school’s policies and procedures and contractual obligations.
