FirstHealth of the Carolinas is seeking an Inpatient Behavioral Health Social Worker to join a multidisciplinary team in central North Carolina. The role emphasizes coordination with community mental health centers, individual and family counseling, and attention to culturally sensitive, age-specific needs of patients.

Applicants should hold a BSW or MSW with LCSW or LCSW-A preferred. New grads are welcome; 1–2 years of psychiatric-focused experience is ideal.

• Knowledge of area agencies, DSM IV diagnoses, and reimbursement issues.
