Job Description:
As an accelerated alternative high school program, One Bright Ray’s population consists of non-traditional students that may need additional support. The Emotional Support Team (EST) assistsstudents in maintaining their needsto ensure the completion of their high school education. The goal of the Emotional Support Team is to enhance students' coping skills, ability to manage crises, self-advocate, and provide staff/faculty support to maintain cultural competency.
The School Social Worker supports students and families in need of social service resources. The Social Worker shall understand the psychologicaldevelopment of children and the influences of family, community, and cultural differences as they interact with the educational process. The School Social Worker will be part of the Emotional Support Team (EST) and work collaboratively with site administration and the Director of Emotional Support.

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, from a CSWE accredited program
Language: Bilingual Spanish/English
Years of Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years
Must have a valid driver's license.
