This position located in the Department of Social Services performs professional, administrative, and direct duties involved in assisting individuals and families who may experience increasingly complex and diverse needs as well as crisis management. The position works with all populations, with the exception of minors, including homeless individuals and families and those at risk of becoming homeless. Metro Social Services also assists customers with navigating the system and obtaining the necessary information, documents, resources, and case management services as well as working to find and secure housing opportunities for the customers. Must be self-directed, show initiative and be comfortable working independently and as a team.
Metropolitan Social Services is a trauma informed care organization who is in the business of assisting Nashvillians who are experiencing hardships. Service areas include but may not be limited to counseling, information, and referral, short- and long-term case management, home and community-based services, mental health services and other assistance. Bachelor's degree in Social Work from an accredited college or university.
