Job summary

Summary of Position

Student worker will provide administrative, organizational, program development, and classroom support to a faculty member in the Social Work program. This position provides an opportunity for a social work student to gain hands‑on experience with program development, community engagement, service-learning, student organization support, and the day‑to‑day work of a faculty member.
The student assistant will play an important role in supporting the development and organization of a study‑away program involving partnership with an Indigenous community, coordinating a personal hygiene, baby product, and backpack donation drive, assisting with classroom activities, supporting a Social Work student organization, and completing general administrative and organizational tasks.
