California State University, East Bay seeks one or more temporary, part-time lecturers for a pool to consider for Fall Semester 2026 and/or Spring Semester 2027. Classes may be taught at the Hayward campus, Concord Center, or online as assignments arise.

The Department of Social Work offers an MSW and CSWE accreditation. Prior teaching experience is preferred and the university states that all faculty perform duties within California.

Qualifications

• Applicants for practice courses must have an MSW and a minimum of two years of post-MSW practice experience.
• Applicants for research courses should have a PhD in Social Welfare or a related field; ADB will be considered.
• University teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach in various social work curriculum sequences including generalist and advanced practice.
• Courses may include policy, research, field practicum, HBSE, and race, gender, and inequality.
