The Division of Youth Services (DYS) provides residential and non-residential services, including juvenile detention, commitment, and parole, for youth aged 10 to 21. It operates fifteen secure facilities and contracts with private providers across Colorado. DYS aims to build skills and competencies in youth to foster responsible citizenship.
