Job summary

University of North Carolina at Pembroke seeks a faculty member in the Department of Social Work to teach 6–8 courses per academic year, including field seminar and field supervision. Qualifications

• MSW from CSWE-accredited program is required.
• ABD candidates will be considered; Doctoral studies must be completed by end of year one of employment.
• Three years of full-time post-MSW work experience are required.
• Minimum one year of experience teaching in higher education is required.

Responsibilities

• Teach 6–8 courses per academic year (including field seminar and field supervision).
• Develop curricula and provide academic advisement to current and prospective students.
• Maintain an active program of scholarship in area of expertise and seek extramural funding.
• Serve on university, college and department committees; provide service to regional communities/agencies.
