Job summary

Bunker Hill Community College invites applications for teaching positions in the Social Work Department. Courses include Introduction to Social Work, Human Behavior in the Social Environment, and Social Welfare Policy and Practice.

Instructors may teach at Charlestown, Chelsea, PAO Center, and CSR locations as needed. We seek candidates with a Masters or PhD in Social Work or related fields, and experience in culturally responsive pedagogy.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Social Work or related field; evidence of culturally responsive pedagogies.
• Experience with high-impact teaching and learning practices (e.g., undergraduate research, community engagement, critical pedagogies, learning communities).
• Ability to work with a diverse faculty, staff and student population.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in the Social Work Department across BHCC campuses and partner sites.
• Cover courses such as Introduction to Social Work, Human Behavior in the Social Environment, and Social Welfare Policy and Practice.
