Job summary

Bunker Hill Community College is seeking instructors to teach History courses across its campuses, including Chelsea and Malden High School sites, as part of the Behavioral, Social Sciences and Global Learning Division. Candidates should hold a Master's or Ph.D.

in History, demonstrate culturally responsive pedagogy, and have experience with high-impact teaching; schedule may include multiple courses and locations with diverse learners.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in History or related field.
• Evidence of engagement in culturally responsive pedagogies.
• Experience with high impact teaching and learning practices (examples: undergraduate research, community engagement, critical pedagogies, learning communities).
• Proven ability to work with a diverse faculty, staff and student population.
• Must be available to teach at Chelsea, Malden High School, Freedom House, and Chelsea High School.

Responsibilities

• Teach one or more of the listed history courses across BHCC campuses and partner sites.
• Contribute to diverse and inclusive teaching practices and curricula.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support student success and community engagement.
