Job summary

Florida Gulf Coast University seeks an Adjunct Faculty member in Social Work to teach core and elective courses at undergraduate and/or graduate levels. Assignments may occur on the main campus or at off-campus sites within our region and may include online course delivery.

This part-time role supports faculty in delivering innovative instruction and maintaining high standards of student learning. The candidate will contribute to curriculum development and participate in department activities.

Qualifications

  • MSW degree from a CSWE-accredited program.
  • Two years of social work practice experience.
  • Experience teaching social work courses at undergraduate and/or graduate level.
  • Scholarly expertise in aging, child welfare, mental health, and/or substance abuse.
  • Experience with development and delivery of online coursework.

Responsibilities

  • Teaches core or elective social work courses at undergraduate and/or graduate levels.
  • Contributes to course and/or curriculum development.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned.
